GIPSY OASIS

GIPSY-OASIS, or GIPSY, is the GNSS-Inferred Positioning System and Orbit Analysis Simulation Software package. GIPSY is developed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory JPL, and maintained by the Near Earth Tracking Applications and Systems groups. GIPSY is a collection of many programs and scripts to analyze GNSS data (and other data: DORIS, SLR).

The Video Tutorials of this class introduce the Precise point positioning PPP which stands out as an optimal approach for providing centimeter-level error positioning using current and coming GNSS constellations. The Precise Point Positioning PPP processes measurements from a single user receiver, using detailed physical models and corrections, and precise GNSS orbit and clock products computed beforehand.

GAMIT GLOBK

GAMIT/GLOBK is a comprehensive GPS analysis package developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT, for estimating station coordinates and velocities, stochastic or functional representations of post-seismic deformation, atmospheric delays, satellite orbits, and Earth orientation parameters.

The Video Tutorials of this class serve the dual purpose of testing the installation and guiding a new user through the basic steps to get time series and velocities from GAMIT/GLOBK processing.
